Studio EMP was established in 2013 by Elizabeth Partington and aims to produce beautiful contemporary designs. We work closely with our clients to maximise value for their budgets and meet their requirements. Solving our clients briefs and seeing them move into their new homes is the most enjoyable part of the project.
Architect / Director
Elizabeth studied BA(hons) Architecture at De Montfort University and both DipArch and MArch at the University of Portsmouth, qualifying as an Architect in 2010.
Originally entering the retail sector, she worked at Haskoll Architects as part of a large team on shopping centre design. At JCA Architects she continued to work on retail projects but also on some smaller educational buildings. These smaller projects became more interesting because of the closer relationship with the client and end users. These lead her to pursue a job in the residential sector at Paul Archer Design.
It was working as a project runner and Architect for over 6 years with Paul that she developed a passion for modern, minimal design. Being able to solve the clients needs to create a home, and seeing the family happy at the end of a project is very rewarding.
This interest continues at Studio EMP where she aims to produce beautiful contemporary designs for her clients.
